The pair who are both over seventy
Peggy and Ambrose write to each other by email in full sentences and are the only pairing here that has ever exchanged a letter on paper.

Both had joined and been faintly alienated by the pace of things, and both had said in their request note that they would like to write properly rather than in fragments. Ren, who holds the over-60 circle, put them together and got out of the way.
Their preoccupation is muscle and bone, which they both take considerably more seriously than most members half their age, and both have had a conversation with their own clinicians about it rather than relying on anything they read. Peggy asked for a bone density baseline herself and got one.
Ambrose is blunt that the thing he most wanted from a buddy was somebody who would not be surprised by the word "seventy-three", and that he had not found that anywhere else on the internet.
I asked for the baseline scan myself. Nobody offered it and I do not think anybody would have.
I wanted somebody who would not find my age remarkable. That turns out to be a surprisingly hard thing to find.
