The cookies we set
Session cookie. Set only if you log in. It keeps you logged in and expires when you close your browser or after thirty days if you ask to be remembered.
Notice cookie. Records that you have dismissed a site notice, so we do not show it again. Contains a single value and no identifier.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics cookies. No social embed cookies — we embed nothing from any social platform. No fingerprinting. No cross-site identifiers. Sponsor units are plain links and set nothing.
Fonts and icons
The site loads a web font from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to it. That request carries your IP address and user agent to that provider, as any request does. We have no other relationship with them and receive nothing back.
Turning them off
Blocking cookies entirely will stop you logging in and will make a notice reappear each visit. Everything else on the site — every circle, journal, guide, tool and check-in — works with cookies fully disabled.
