If you are new
Start here
You do not have to introduce yourself, join anything, or write a word. Most members read for weeks first. But if you would like a map, here is one.

If you have just been prescribed something
Read starting out, then what to expect in the first twelve weeks. Then, before your next appointment, look at questions to take to your first appointment and write three of them down.
Then find just starting. It meets on Mondays and it answers the same questions every single week on purpose, because for whoever is asking it is the first time.
If something in your body is worrying you today
Read when a symptom needs a clinician first, and if what you have is on that list, please stop reading and get seen. Nothing on this site is worth waiting for.
If it is the ordinary unpleasant kind, side effect support and nausea and eating are the two busiest circles on the site for a reason.
If you are having a hard time with food or with your body
Go straight to support resources. Then, if it fits, the recovery-aware circle — carefully facilitated, no numbers of any kind, two facilitators always present.
How the four things work
Circles are small named groups. Each has a purpose, a facilitator, a meeting rhythm and its own agreements. Browse all fifty-three and join whichever fit; most members are in three or four.
Journals are personal and dated. Nobody has to keep one. If you do, the most useful thing you can do for a stranger is write down a boring week.
Check-ins are one facilitator question a day and short answers from whoever wants to answer. Two sentences is a complete answer. So is "hard day, nothing to add".
Buddies is two people who agree to send each other a few lines on a Sunday. Read how it works and some of the accounts before deciding.
What nobody here will do
Nobody will tell you what dose to take. Nobody will interpret your blood results for you. Nobody will help you obtain anything. Nobody will ask you what you weigh, and if anyone does, a facilitator will get there before you have to answer.
Six things worth reading in your first fortnight
- The community agreements — ten of them, and short.
- Titration: why slow is kind to you.
- Eating enough when nothing appeals.
- Protein without a chore.
- Plateaus — read it before you need it.
- Maintenance — read it long before you need it.
