Who we are
The GLP Circle is an independent peer support community operating at theglpcircle.com. We are not a medical practice, a pharmacy, a compounder, a supplier, an insurer or an advertising network. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer of any medication discussed here.
No medical advice
Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it must not be used as a substitute for the advice of a qualified clinician who knows you. Everything written here is the personal experience and opinion of the member who wrote it. Facilitators are trained in peer support, not medicine, and act in that capacity only.
Some discussion here concerns compounds sold for research use only, which are not approved for human use. We neither supply, sell, broker nor recommend any such material, and discussion of it is not encouragement to use it.
What you agree to when you post
That you are eighteen or over. That what you post is your own. That you will not give dose advice, post photographs of people, publish anyone's identity, offer to obtain anything for anybody, or post contact details, prices or links for any supplier. That you will follow the community agreements and the additional agreements of any circle you are in.
You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it here and in our archives. You may ask for your journal to be withdrawn at any time; see the privacy notice.
Moderation and removal
We may edit, annotate, withdraw or remove content, and suspend accounts, as described on the moderation page. We aim to tell you and to explain. Decisions can be appealed by email and are reviewed by facilitators who were not involved.
Sponsors and links
The site carries a small number of labelled sponsor units linking to third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Sponsors have no editorial influence, receive no member data, and do not appear on the recovery-aware or grief circles.
Liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any decision taken on the basis of anything read here. Decisions about your health are between you and your clinician.
Changes
We may change these terms and will date the change at the top of the page. Material changes are noted in the Monday digest.
