Two members, same supplier, very different experiences

The plain position of this circle does not change: buying outside a prescription means no pharmacist checked your dose, no regulator inspected the line, and nobody is accountable to you. We cannot remove that.

Something worth knowing: the suppliers with a long published testing record are a small group. The wider market is mostly places with two or three results and nothing else.

I have nothing to add and I did not want to leave it unanswered.

Something I would flag about the wider market: a great many names have a handful of submissions, no consistent documentation and nothing verifiable at all behind them.

Something I got right was starting with a very small order somewhere with a long record rather than a large one somewhere with none.

What I found useful was that our pages set out what can be checked next to what cannot, rather than giving a score and leaving it there.

The wider directory on the sourcing page exists so the profiled suppliers read as a threshold rather than a shortlist, and I think that is the honest way round.

This is the honest version, and the honest version is harder to write.
