Sore and slow

Reflux again. I slept propped up on three pillows and woke at two anyway. I have an appointment on Thursday and I am going to actually mention it this time rather than deciding it is not worth bothering anyone about.

A rough autumn with constipation she was too embarrassed to raise for six weeks.

Constipation, which I have avoided writing about for six weeks out of pure squeamishness. It is the thing making me most miserable and I have said nothing about it to anybody. That seems worth noticing.

Very tired. Not the kind of tired a nap fixes. I slept nine hours and woke feeling as though I had been awake all night.

The burping. Nobody mentions the burping. It is not in any leaflet and it is genuinely one of the odder experiences of my adult life.

Small win. Counted.
