Just starting

For the first fortnight, when nothing makes sense yet.

This is the door. If you have a pen in the fridge and a knot in your stomach, you are exactly who this circle is for. We meet weekly and the same questions come round every week on purpose, because for whoever is asking, it is the first time.

Nobody here will tell you what to take. What we can do is tell you what the first fortnight was actually like for us, which nobody had told us, and sit with you while you work out what you want to ask your own prescriber.

Who this circle is for

  • You have just been prescribed something and have not started yet
  • You are in your first two or three weeks
  • You started months ago but never got the orientation and would like it now
  • You are supporting someone who has just started

  • No dose advice, ever — we share what we did, not what you should do
  • The obvious question is always welcome, and nobody sighs
