Nobody piled on

Sitting down to this properly tonight.

Jonah said something to me in circle that I did not want to hear. He said it once, kindly, in front of everybody, and then he did not say it again.

He was right. It has taken me five weeks to write that sentence and about ten minutes to know it.

I was defensive. Properly defensive, the kind where you go and reread your own post four times looking for the version that proves you right.

Steady. That is the whole aim.
