Gastro history
When your gut was already complicated before any of this.
If you already had IBS, reflux disease, gastroparesis, coeliac disease, a resection, IBD or a history of pancreatitis, none of the general advice quite fits you. This circle is for the people who have to have a more careful conversation with their clinician than the leaflet imagines.
We hold this one closely. There is more reason than usual to be specific about what is your existing condition and what is new.
Who this circle is for
- You have a diagnosed gut condition and are on or considering treatment
- You had a gastro history nobody asked about before prescribing
- You have been through a flare while on treatment
Agreements here
- Existing conditions change the calculus. We never generalise across them
- Anything that could be a flare or an acute problem goes to your specialist team
